Role Summary
As Head of People you will be responsible for helping to find, develop, motivate and retain talents at Amaka. You will act as a champion for the company culture and will support the company executives and team leaders, allowing the company to develop and grow rapidly across its international sites.
In this role you will be responsible for all human resources related activities. We want to attract talents by developing Amaka's business culture to the highest standards.
As Head of the People you will be responsible for helping us build and support this exceptional group of people and you will need to build a team culture that can scale and support the company as it grows. This will involve, driving recruitment of the best talent, coaching on team leadership, helping to resolve employee relations issues and managing programs that help develop staff.
This position is a key strategic role in the company helping to grow the business and allowing us to build a unique and strong people-oriented culture at Amaka.

- Provide human resources support and consultation
- Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale the team effectively and efficiently at an international level
- Provide leadership on people related issues and policies across the company
- Be able to communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of practical experience with proof of HR related responsibilities and best practice
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in coaching at all levels within an organisation
- Ability to build credibility and trust with others
- Ability to adapt to the company culture and structure HR functions to reflect it
- Well-developed people management skills and competencies
- Sound working knowledge of HR functions
