Banner Health is seeking an Senior Systems Specialist to support reporting, analytics, system administration, and application support functions within our Supply Chain organization. This role serves as a key resource for business users, leveraging technology and data to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical and analytical background, with experience supporting business applications, reporting platforms, and system optimization efforts. While healthcare experience is welcomed, it is not required. Candidates with experience in supply chain operations, business systems, reporting, analytics, or application support are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and customer needs and develop effective application-based solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system issues, escalating when appropriate. Support reporting, analytics, system administration, and business application functionality. Serve as a liaison between end users, Information Technology teams, and external vendors. Participate in system implementations, testing, upgrades, maintenance activities, and process improvement initiatives. Create and maintain functional documentation, reports, and training materials. Lead or participate in project teams supporting departmental and enterprise-wide initiatives. Provide education and consultation related to applications, processes, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate databases, reporting tools, and system documentation. Preferred Qualifications Technical background in systems support, business applications, analytics, reporting, or supply chain operations. Experience with Workday is a plus. Experience with GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange) procurement and ordering platform is a plus. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills. Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with Databricks reporting and analytics platform is a plus. Location: Remote, Banner provides equipment Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm *This can be a remote position if you live in the following state(s) only: AZ, CA, NV, CO, NB & WY* Minimum Qualifications Must possess strong knowledge as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in related business discipline to area assigned or computer science. A level of experience as would typically be obtained in 3 to 5 years working with systems, working as a functional "super-user" of an application in a similar department environment, or providing consultative input for application usage or design is required. Excellent working knowledge of typical word processing, spreadsheet and/or database applications is required. Good organizational, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and human relation skills are required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with system implementation and project management. Additional experience with specialized applications in related area also preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred. Estimated Pay Range Estimated Pay Range: $32.09 - $53.48 / hour Banner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency.
