What You’ll Do:

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience and meeting dealership standards for gross profit, volume, and satisfaction.

Guide customers through every step of the vehicle buying process with professionalism and enthusiasm

Determine customer needs through effective questioning and active listening

Demonstrate new and used vehicles, including test drives

Clearly explain vehicle features, benefits, warranties, pricing, and financing basics

Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure a smooth, informative delivery process

Build long-term relationships through trust, transparency, and consistent follow-up

Maintain prospect development and CRM activity to grow your book of business

Stay up to date on inventory, features, promotions, and competitive comparisons

Understand vehicle values, equity, and depreciation, and explain them to customers

Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing auto sales

Collaborate with finance, service, and management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Introduce customers to service personnel to reinforce long-term dealership relationships

Attend sales meetings and work with management to achieve individual and team goals

Track and analyze performance to continuously improve productivity

Perform daily sales routines and other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

1+ years of automotive sales experience (or related customer-facing sales experience preferred)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets

Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude

Confidence, motivation, and a willingness to learn and grow

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
