Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $150/hour (details discussed upon interview)
• Annual Compensation: Approximately $328,500 (full-time)

What You’ll Do:

• Attend approximately 60 deliveries per month, including high-risk pregnancies
• Provide OB triage, patient evaluation, and management in a busy community hospital setting
• Assist with surgical deliveries and fetal monitoring
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology teams for high-risk cases
• Cover ER and inpatient units, ensuring continuous patient care
• Participate in teaching with residents, fellows, and medical students
• Support the hospital’s Level-III NICU with newborns 23 weeks and above

What You Need:
Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Residency training in OB/GYN
• Valid California medical license or ability to obtain one

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist or in-house OB experience
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to patient care

About the Assignment:
This full-time OB/GYN hospitalist role offers a unique opportunity to work at a prestigious 387-bed tertiary acute care facility in Palm Springs, renowned for its Level I Trauma Center status. The hospital supports approximately 8,000+ square miles of Southeastern California and provides a high standard of obstetric and neonatal care with the support of dedicated MFM and neonatology teams. The position involves engaging in both clinical duties and teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and students. Relocation may be required to reside within the local area.
