Project Manager - Construction

Job Title: Project Manager - Construction Location: Tampa Bay Area Hours: 40.0 Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate multiple construction and steel fabrication/erection projects from kickoff through completion Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, field crews, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy Track material procurement, fabrication schedules, and delivery timelines Oversee field installation and erection activities to meet quality and safety standards Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall project performance Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies Resolve project issues and maintain strong customer relationships Support estimating, planning, and project closeout activities as needed Requirements 3+ years of project management experience in steel fabrication, steel erection, or general construction Strong understanding of structural steel projects, fabrication processes, and construction operations Experience managing commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of scheduling software, project tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and contract management OSHA knowledge and commitment to workplace safety Experience coordinating fabrication shop operations and field installation teams Knowledge of structural steel detailing and erection sequencing Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to travel to job sites as needed Benefits We offer eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, as well as participation in a 401(k) plan.
