ChristianaCare's Cardiology at Avenue North is located in Wilmington, Delaware and provides comprehensive cardiovascular care and advanced diagnostic services, including EKGs, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, with specialized programs for women's heart health and familial cardiovascular risk assessment. Duties / Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse II , you will provide comprehensive, relationship‑based care to adult and geriatric cardiology patients in virtual and clinic settings. Responsibilities include telephone triage, nurse visits, transitional care management, advance care planning, disease management, patient education, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and cardiology procedure coordination. The role serves as a key liaison between patients and the care team, supports prescription refill management, collaborates with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow, responds to urgent patient needs, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and may travel to additional clinic locations as needed. Education Requirements A graduate of a state‑approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing. Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey, depending on location of employment. Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse; primary care experience is preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered with an agreement to complete a BSN in three years. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
