Job Summary:

The Vice President of Franchise Development is responsible for developing and executing the Company's franchise growth strategy through the recruitment, selection and onboarding of high-quality franchise owners. This executive leads all aspects of new franchise development, including sales process development, lead generation, franchise recruitment, candidate qualification, territory expansion planning, franchise sales operations and development marketing, while partnering closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance and Legal to support a disciplined, sustainable and profitable expansion of the HomeVestors franchise system. The role is accountable for building a predictable franchise development pipeline, continuously improving the candidate experience and ensuring new franchisees are positioned for long-term success.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.

· 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in franchise development, franchise sales or business development.

· Demonstrated success developing and executing franchise growth strategies within a multi-unit franchise organization.

· Strong knowledge of franchise development best practices, franchise sales processes, franchise disclosure regulations and franchise agreements.

· Experience managing CRM platforms, sales analytics, forecasting and pipeline management.

· Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and influence executive-level stakeholders.

· Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

· Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Franchise Development Strategy

o Develop and execute the Company's franchise development strategy.

o Identify and prioritize expansion opportunities through territory planning, demographic analysis and competitive assessment.

o Partner with Executive Leadership to develop annual franchise growth plans, forecasts and strategic initiatives.

o Continuously evaluate and improve franchise development processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience and alignment with Company’s mission.

Franchise Recruitment & Sales

o Lead the franchise recruitment process from initial inquiry through franchise award and transition to Operations.

o Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective franchise candidates.

o Establish and maintain standards for evaluating prospective franchisees based on financial capacity, operational capability, cultural alignment and long-term success potential.

o Manage franchise discovery, validation and due diligence processes to ensure informed investment decisions.

Development Marketing & Business Development

o Partner with Marketing to develop franchise recruitment strategies, messaging and lead generation initiatives and to continuously refine the Company's franchise value proposition and recruitment messaging.

o Identify and manage relationships with franchise brokers, referral partners and other franchise recruitment channels.

o Represent the Company at franchise expos, conferences and industry events to strengthen brand awareness and recruit qualified candidates.

o Coordinate regional Discovery Day events with Development Agents to build markets looking to grow.

o Manage monthly Meet the Team Day meeting

o Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of franchise recruitment channels and recommend improvements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

o Partner with Franchise Operations to ensure seamless transition of newly awarded franchisees through onboarding and launch and to evaluate new franchise performance in order to continuously improve franchisee selection and onboarding processes.

o Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Legal and Executive Leadership to align franchise growth initiatives with corporate objectives.

o Ensure compliance with all applicable franchise laws, disclosure requirements and internal governance standards.

o Provide regular reporting, forecasting and strategic recommendations regarding franchise development performance and market opportunities.

Leadership & Organizational Excellence

o Establish performance expectations and accountability for the franchise development function.

o Develop scalable processes, systems and reporting that support disciplined franchise growth.

o Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, continuous improvement and exceptional candidate service.

o Monitor industry trends, competitive developments and emerging best practices to strengthen the Company's franchise development strategy.
