Experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Dallas, TX

Job Details Envision is seeking a part time or full time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic team of providers at Medical City Dallas Children's Hospital. Great early career opportunity for Pediatric Residents (especially those considering a PHM fellowship) or for experienced Pediatricians/Hospitalists looking for productive work. PHM fellowship welcome, but not required. Daily census: 20–30 shared by two physicians + APP in summer months and 30–50 by three physicians + APP in winter months. Physician 12‑hour day shift covering unit across physicians from 6a.m. to 7p.m. Full‑time 120 hours/month (additional shifts if available/desired). Team participates in rotation of paid home‑based support night call to APP team. Outstanding pediatric subspecialty support; 24/7 in‑house specialists in PED, PICU and CVICU. Facility Information Medical City Children's Hospital is the flagship children's hospital of the large network of Medical City Hospitals. The hospital is a 254‑bed, award‑winning, pediatric healthcare facility, delivering specialized pediatric care. It boasts a 37‑bed pediatric med‑surg unit supported by a PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program. The hospitalist group works alongside exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology and infectious disease. The site also operates a full‑service pediatric ED with board‑certified PEM physicians and pediatric hematology‑oncology program, in addition to a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services. Located on the same campus, Medical City Dallas includes a LevelIV NICU and adult hospital, making it the only hospital in the DFW metroplex to offer comprehensive care for all ages including women and infant services under the same roof.
