Roles & Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated shift.
- Prescribe nursing care using the nursing process that aligns with medical plans of care and incorporates input from patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Deliver nursing care to patients across various age groups, including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Integrate teaching and discharge planning into the overall patient care plan.
- Delegate tasks to other nursing staff according to their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
