Human Resources Operations Manager

The Human Resources Operations Manager oversees HR operations, systems, reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners with HR leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to optimize HR processes, improve service delivery, and leverage technology and automation. The HR Operations Manager will serve as a key resource for Workday, HR analytics, compliance administration, and HR projects while directly supervising HR Operations team members. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. Serve as a primary HR resource for Workday and other HR technologies. Partner with IT and system stakeholders on enhancements, implementations, and process improvements. Manage HR reporting, dashboards, workforce metrics, and data integrity. Identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology, automation, and AI. Oversee HR compliance programs, audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Lead and support cross-functional HR projects and system implementations. Develop and maintain HR procedures, workflows, and best practices. Supervise, coach, and develop HR Operations team members. Partner with Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and IT. Use data and analytics to identify trends and support business decisions. Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional internal customer service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of progressive HR Operations, HRIS, HR Technology, or related experience. Strong Workday or enterprise HRIS experience; functional/business lead experience preferred. Experience with HR systems implementations, process improvement, and project management. Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, reporting, and data management. Advanced Excel and HR reporting/analytics skills. Proven leadership and experience supervising and developing employees. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Interest in automation, AI, and emerging HR technologies. SHRM, HRCI, PMP, or Workday certification preferred. Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
