Created and modified JCL jobs for batch scheduling, file processing, program execution, and production support across mainframe environments. Designed, coded, and optimized DB2 queries, stored procedures, and embedded SQL within COBOL programs for efficient data retrieval, validation, and updates. Worked with VSAM files for high-volume data storage, retrieval, and batch processing, including file definition, access path handling, and record-level updates.
