Interventional Rad Tech Non Registered provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department, and performs high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. The Interventional Rad Tech Non Registered follows standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrates leadership and is a role model for other associate technologists. This role acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Job Requirements One year imaging experience strongly preferred High School Diploma or GED required Associate’s degree strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred RT required; Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R)(ARRT) ARRT‑VI preferred; Vascular‑Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular‑Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) SA required; Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred Physical Requirements Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, or up to 20 lbs frequently, or up to 10 lbs constantly.
