What The Role Entails

\n

\n

The Accounting Manager is part of the Corporate Team within CloudHQ. The Accounting Manager will provide support for the Accounting/Finance Team and the Operations Management Team in the day-to-day operations of several large-scale data centers. The Accounting Manager will work with Property Management, Operations and Accounting personnel as well as Executive level staff within our organization.

What You Will Get To Do

\n

\n

\n
• Review and post journal entries
\n
• Review account analyses, overhead allocations and reconciliations
\n
• Review quarterly financial statements including supporting workpaper packages.
\n
• Prepare monthly invoice billing rent and expense to tenants
\n
• Review monthly Technical Services invoices
\n
• Prepare monthly draw packages for submission to lenders on projects in construction
\n
• Review monthly required tax filings for Sales and Use Tax and Exempt Fuel purchases
\n
• Assist with due diligence tasks as required for Corporate Capital Transactions
\n
• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
\n
• Compile financial data and other audit requirements
\n
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance including resolving access issues and creating and maintaining properties, leases and tenants
\n
• Process Year end 1099s
\n
• Ensure training of junior accounting staff
\n
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed
\n
• Travel to sites, client meeting, trainings or conferences as requested and required
\n

What You Will Bring to The Role

\n

\n

\n
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting
\n
• 7-10 years in a professional business environment
\n
• Strong business Acumen
\n
• Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Expertise in popular Microsoft office suite applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
\n
• Strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks on or ahead of schedule while still maintaining accuracy
\n
• Very strong organizational skills
\n
• Very strong attention to detail
\n
• Ability to multi-task while managing changing priorities
\n
• Assertive personality style needed to ensure that processes are completed and moving on to the next stage of completion
\n
• Strong work ethic and self- motivation
\n
• Ability to work overtime as required
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on both expected and unforeseen responsibilities while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
\n
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language
\n
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with vendors, tenants and other departments within the Company
\n
• Actively solicit feedback to ensure all responsibilities, activities and deliverables meet expectations
\n
• Ability and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergency
\n

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

\n

\n

\n
• Real Estate experience is a plus
\n
• Experience with Yardi or equivalent software highly preferred
\n
