Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for senior clients to establish their specific care needs and tailor treatment strategies accordingly.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that target emotional and psychological issues associated with aging, such as adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety.

• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate holistic care plans that promote both mental and physical well-being for elderly clients.

• Providing guidance and educational resources to clients’ family members, enabling them to support their loved ones’ mental health and overall quality of life.

• Offering specialized grief counseling to individuals and families coping with loss or facing end-of-life transitions.

• Implementing evidence-based cognitive and mental health interventions aimed at enhancing cognitive function and reassurance among older adults.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
