Desktop Support Specialist

At Experis Game Solutions, we partner with developers and publishers of video games on all platforms to improve testing coverage using the latest technology. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting the game testing lab. The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist Location: Milwaukee WI Pay Range: $25 What's the Job? Act as the initial point of contact for computer and system-related concerns from clients or other employees. Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved. Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage. Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware. Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems and resolve technical issues related to network interruptions. What's Needed? Industry-specific certification such as A+, Network+. 1-3 years of proven experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge. Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS. Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks and projects efficiently.
