We're hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to service and repair forklifts, aerial lifts, and other industrial equipment throughout the Buffalo area. If you have mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, manufacturing, farming equipment, or maintenance, we want to hear from you.

You'll be trusted to manage your own service route, work directly with customers, and make repairs that keep warehouses and distribution centers running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

✅ Diagnose and repair forklifts, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment.

✅ Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

✅ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

✅ Travel to customer locations in a company-provided service van.

✅ Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.

✅ Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.

✅ Read schematics and technical diagrams to identify and resolve issues.

✅ Communicate with customers and provide updates on repairs and service work.

✅ Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

✅ Manage parts inventory within your service vehicle.

✅ Follow all safety procedures while working in warehouse and industrial environments.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.

✔ Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience.

✔ Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues independently.

✔ Strong customer service and communication skills.

✔ High School Diploma or GED.

Bonus Experience:

• Forklifts or aerial lifts.
• Automotive, diesel, agricultural, or heavy equipment repair.
• Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
• Industrial maintenance or field service work.
• Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on field service position working at warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial facilities throughout the region. You'll work around forklifts, loading docks, storage systems, and active warehouse operations while using mechanical and diagnostic tools to complete repairs. The role is physically active and may involve lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working at elevated heights.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clarence Center, NY.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
