About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 4 years recent ICU experience License: Current California Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have experience with various advanced cardiovascular support devices including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Ability to float to different units and departments as needed. Completed references must be submitted prior to consideration. Description: VAYA OFFER: Please submit all requested time off at the time of offer. Time off requests sent after the contract is signed will not be considered. Candidates must have the ability to float to different facilities and departments. Experience with ECMO patients as a bedside RN is required. Experience managing complex critical care patients is essential. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Preferred experience includes CVICU, CTICU, or CCU. Candidates should have strong experience in transplant recovery, mechanical circulatory support, and multi-organ support therapies. Academic medical center experience is considered advantageous. Candidates will be assessed on their ability to function within the intensive care model rather than having ECMO experience alone. All candidates must have experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. All travelers may be assigned to various units based on operational needs and must be able to float to multiple departments. References from the most recent employer are required prior to consideration. Candidates must provide details of any previous employment in similar medical facilities for rehire eligibility verification.
