About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 4 years recent ICU experience License: California RN License Certifications: BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have the ability to float to other facilities and departments. Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Recent experience caring for ECMO patients as a bedside RN. Ability to independently manage complex critical care patients. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to float among various units. Candidates should possess advanced skills in critical care settings. The role involves caring for complex patients requiring multi-device management. Experience in cardiovascular intensive care and transplant recovery is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in caring for patients on ECMO and other mechanical support devices. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Flexibility to switch shifts is necessary based on operational needs. Prior experience in an academic medical center is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate competence in managing high-acuity patients across multiple specialties. This role is not unit-based and requires the ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs.
