About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 4 years recent ICU experience, travel nursing experience for 1 year or less in the past 5 years. License: California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to float to various departments. Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Experience caring for complex critical care patients. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specialized in intensive care. Candidates must be prepared to float to various healthcare facilities and departments. Completed references must be available at the time of submission. Candidates should possess experience managing ECMO patients as a bedside RN. Experience in cardiovascular intensive care, transplant, and multiorgan support therapies is essential. Prior ECMO experience should be seen as one aspect of a comprehensive skill set. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to function within a critical care model. Candidates should have strong capabilities in managing multiple support devices concurrently. The role includes caring for patients with complex conditions such as heart failure and cardiogenic shock. Experience with additional critical procedures and equipment is highly desirable. This is a float pool position, and candidates may be assigned to various departments.
