The opportunity Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, our Software Strategy Group provides top-tier investment and acquisition guidance, strategy, and transaction advisory for the software sector. Every year we help hundreds of software companies and investors make crucial business decisions. On every engagement, you will work alongside our team of former CTOs and CEOs with deep software expertise to learn from the best. Your key responsibilities As an Experienced Associate, with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Software Strategy Group, you will engage in conversations with private equity investors and tech leaders, conduct thorough market and competitive research using diverse sources, assess company strengths to advise on growth and technology strategies, and clearly present your conclusions to both the team and clients. Business Development - contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work Learning - learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences To qualify for the role, you must have Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor’s degree in business , Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and at least 1 year of related work experience; or a graduate degree and some related work experience. Experience in client-facing environments or technical roles in similar industries (e.g., consulting, banking, tech) Demonstrated interest in the tech industry through startup experience, internships, coursework, extracurricular activities or research and writing on the subject A strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,000 to $110,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
