Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a busy retail location, where you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support order, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support store and property personnel with security-related concerns, customer interactions, and incident follow-up while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
