About the Position

Opportunity:

CST - OR/SURGERY

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment on day shift
• Call required with a minimum of 4 to 5 call shifts per 6-week period and 4 to 5 late shifts per 6-week period
• Weekend shifts available
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Work in a 22-OR facility with one team in house at all times during the day and one team in house overnight
• Experience required in Orthopedics, Spine, Neuro, Robotics, Plastics, General, and GYN (excluding Cardiovascular)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required with at least 1 year of travel experience
• Certification is required for CSTs
• Neuro/Spine experience required
• Multiple service line experience preferred including Ortho, Neuro, General, and Robotics
• Typical procedures include appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, mastectomies, and DIEP flaps
• Equipment used includes Robotics, Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, Spine, Oncology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, and GYN
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Closed-toe, closed-heel, non-slip shoes required

This facility is a full-service medical center housing 22 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 80 personnel. The facility is not a trauma hospital but supports a wide range of surgical service lines including Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, Spine, Oncology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, and GYN.
