Work Environment

Located in Orlando, Florida, our center operates in a hospital setting, providing clinicians with access to state-of-the-art facilities and supportive departments. The position is onsite, enabling our team to work closely with patients and each other in a collaborative atmosphere. The work schedule includes coverage every other weekend, with days off during the week to ensure work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations for new patient admissions, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and documentation of medical history.
• Order, prescribe, and manage pharmacotherapy for patients at admission and throughout their course of treatment, aligning with best clinical practices.
• Oversee the care of individuals requiring medical stabilization, including timely transfers to appropriate facilities when necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and treatment options.
• Maintain consistent communication with interdisciplinary team members to enhance collaborative patient care and ensure seamless transitions between different levels of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes a diverse range of patients dealing with various health challenges, including but not limited to eating disorders, chronic health issues, and acute medical conditions. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program for Family Nurse Practitioners.
• Current board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a primary care discipline such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
• Valid and unencumbered license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Florida or equivalent licensure.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are required prior to starting work, with training available if needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is highly beneficial, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of patient care across varying environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
