Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and resources. With a standard 5:00 pm shift from Monday to Friday, you will enjoy a stable work schedule while contributing significantly to the urgent care department's mission to ensure optimal patient health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess urgent medical issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
• Review patient medical histories and current health records to make informed decisions regarding diagnostic tests and treatment strategies.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging to detect conditions requiring immediate attention.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, initiating prompt treatment to alleviate patient distress and prevent complications.
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions, staying informed about the latest therapeutic approaches.
• Prescribe medications responsibly while monitoring their effects and making necessary adjustments based on patient responses.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient information and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding disease management, preventive health practices, and wellness.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and regular check-ups, promoting long-term health management.
• Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on advancements in urgent care practices through workshops, seminars, and medical literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Pro Health, you will encounter a diverse patient demographic, ranging from young children experiencing acute illnesses to adults with complex health conditions. You will address a variety of urgent care needs, emphasizing timely interventions and holistic care. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and a current DEA number.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 140,000 and 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
