Director of Business Development

Seacrest Services, Inc. is a full-service property management company based in West Palm Beach, providing professional management and maintenance services to community associations throughout Southeast Florida. As Director of Business Development , you will lead new business development, build prospective client relationships, and support marketing initiatives that expand the company's portfolio and brand awareness. Working closely with the President, CEO, and operational leadership, you will manage the sales process from prospecting through contract execution and help newly acquired communities transition to Seacrest's services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to company growth within an organization committed to professionalism, honesty, integrity, respect, and service excellence. Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and growth goals established by the President and CEO. Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry events; build relationships with prospective clients, community association board members, developers, and industry partners. Manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach through proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution, maintaining accurate records in company CRM and tracking systems. Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for proposals, maintain consistent prospect follow-up, and prepare customized proposals, scopes of work, presentations, and service agreements. Deliver presentations to prospective boards of directors that communicate Seacrest's services, experience, and value. Collaborate with executive and operational leadership on proposals and contract negotiations, and partner with the onboarding team to support new community transitions. Research market trends, competitors, and prospective communities; report pipeline activity, proposals, and business development results to executive leadership. Develop and coordinate marketing strategies, advertising initiatives, and marketing materials that support business growth and consistent company branding. Plan and execute industry events, networking activities, trade shows, and sponsorships; evaluate participation opportunities and collaborate with industry partners on promotional initiatives. Oversee social media content, coordinate website updates, and develop newsletters and other marketing communications to strengthen brand awareness. Qualifications 3–5 years of successful experience in business development, sales, and/or marketing. Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in property management, community association management, real estate, or professional services strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and pursue new business opportunities. Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, including confidence presenting to boards of directors, prospective clients, and industry professionals. Excellent verbal, written, and business communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, projects, and deadlines. Proficiency with CRM/database management systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related business applications. Self-motivated, proactive, creative, persistent, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership and operational teams.
