Assembler

AssemblerWe are seeking an Assembler to build and assemble products in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will ensure quality workmanship while meeting production goals.Key responsibilities include:Assemble components and products according to work instructions, drawings, and basic blueprints.Operate hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches safely and effectively.Inspect parts and finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.Identify and report missing parts, defects, or production issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.Qualifications and requirements:Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently.Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.Compensation and schedule:Pay Rate: $20 per hourShift: Monday through ThursdayWorking Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PMJob type and location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Laurel, MD.Pay and benefits:The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
