Description - Your Responsibilities

• Scrutinize test results closely for accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and execute preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, train new colleagues or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and secure workspace while adhering to all applicable regulations and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire date.
• Keep certification current for the duration of your employment.
