About the job

The Leave, Accommodations & Workers' Compensation Administrator will oversee end-to-end

administration of employee leave, accommodations, and workers’ compensation cases for a

primarily U.S.-based workforce. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and

external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and employee-focused case management while

supporting compliance and continuous process improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone who

● Holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;

equivalent experience accepted

● Has 5+ years of experience administering leave of absence and/or workplace

accommodations programs

● Has workers’ compensation administration experience (preferred)

● Brings experience supporting U.S. leave programs and multi-state compliance

requirements

● Has experience supporting global employee populations (preferred)

● Is familiar with third-party administrators and case management platforms for leave and

accommodations

● Understands leave administration concepts including job protection, certification

workflows, and the interactive accommodations process

● Can manage multiple complex cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and

meeting deadlines

● Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain

complex information clearly

● Handles sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

● Excels at stakeholder management, empathy, de-escalation, and customer service

● Has strong analytical skills and can identify trends and process improvement opportunities

● Is proficient with HRIS platforms, case management tools, and Microsoft 365

What you'll do

● Administer leave of absence programs including intake, eligibility review, documentation

tracking, designation, and return-to-work coordination

● Coordinate job-protected leaves, company-paid leave programs, and wage replacement

processes with Payroll and Benefits teams

● Interpret and apply federal, state, and local leave and accommodation requirements to

employee cases

● Partner with leave and accommodations vendors to ensure smooth case handling and

employee communication

● Coordinate workplace accommodations from intake through implementation, including

manager communication and documentation review

● Support workers’ compensation claims administration, investigations, reporting, and

return-to-work planning

● Collaborate with HR, Legal, managers, and business leaders on complex employee

situations and overlapping leave/accommodation cases

● Maintain audit-ready documentation, case files, templates, and standardized processes

● Track reporting metrics, trends, deadlines, and compliance milestones

● Support employee and manager education through communications, resources, and

training sessions

● Participate in process improvement initiatives, vendor transitions, and system

enhancements

● Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliant handling of sensitive employee and medical

information
