Operations Supervisor

Operations Supervisor – Supply Chain Locations: HKKS Lawrence SC, 101 McDonald Drive, Lawrence, KS 66044, USA; HKMO Liberty SC, 2101 N Lightburne St, Liberty, MO 64068, USA. As an Operations Supervisor – Supply Chain , you will lead up to 55 Hallmark employees, directing and coordinating scheduling and assignment to ensure productivity, serviceability, quality, and cost targets are met. You will work across supply chain teams to accomplish goals and exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Productivity – lead all activities within your assigned area, working towards goals and objectives to ensure they are met. Continuous improvement – use a disciplined problem‑solving approach with PDCA/A3 tools and leadership to achieve or exceed cost reduction targets. Leadership – motivate your team and provide direction and support to carry out the goals and objectives of your area and the company. The role may be filled at any of our Kansas/Missouri supply chain locations, at 2nd (evening), 3rd (overnight), or weekend shifts. Occasional weekend work may be required for those on a Monday‑Friday weekly shift, depending on business need. Hallmark products are produced at our Kansas manufacturing facilities (Lawrence, KS and Leavenworth, KS) and distributed through our Liberty Distribution Center in Liberty, MO. Basic Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years supervising direct reports; OR Associate’s degree or higher with a graduation date of Dec 2024 or May 2025. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or production operations. Experience managing direct reports in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience with equipment and/or building maintenance. Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with SAP and/or Manhattan. Proficiency in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions. Familiarity with Lean principles. Additional Details This is a full‑time on‑site position and could be located at any of our production facilities in Lawrence or Leavenworth, KS or our distribution center in Liberty, MO.
