Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $72.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift 7:00 AM7:30 PM / 7:00 PM7:30 AM (3x12s only). Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, the facility will do its best to honor the preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract assignment on the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a Main Campus Hospital. There is potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. This is an Auto Offer position for 3x12 schedules only.

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable to be within one location but can be combined)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience travel experience will suffice

Nice-to-Have Experience

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Required Skills

• Competency in ECG rhythm recognition (assessed via orientation test acceptable score required)
• Ability to complete safeMedicate assessment during orientation (acceptable score required)
• Availability to work at least every other holiday

Education Requirements

• Must have a permanent Ohio RN license OR a compact state RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA or facility-approved BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Important Notes

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation an acceptable score on both is required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
