Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or classroom assistant is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, including those with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or relevant certifications are a plus
• Ability to follow classroom routines and support instructional activities as directed by lead educators
• Dedication to fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of certified teachers to assist with lesson plans and classroom management
• Support individual students or small groups with classroom assignments, reinforcing lessons and concepts
• Help implement behavioral plans and provide encouragement to students with unique learning needs
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards within the educational environment
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization of materials, and supervision during activities
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage academic growth and development
