What You’ll Be Responsible For
Accounts Payable
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies
Accounts Receivable
- Post payments and track outstanding balances
- Follow up on receivables and maintain clean aging
- Reconcile accounts and identify issues quickly
Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing, including commissions
- Review timecards for accuracy
- Support compliance with company policies
General Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end close
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
Reconciliations
- Reconcile balance sheet schedules
- Investigate and resolve variances
- Ensure timely completion of all reconciliations
Deal Processing
- Review and post vehicle deals accurately
- Ensure complete and compliant paperwork
- Work with sales and finance to resolve discrepancies
What We’re Looking For
- Prior accounting experience required
- Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of AP, AR, and general accounting processes
- Experience with systems like Tekion or Dealertrack is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Team-oriented with a positive, solution-focused mindset
