Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is available in Emeryville, California. This role involves supporting the surgical team by preparing instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, assisting during procedures, and handling specimens and medications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours.

• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology; Licenses and Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NCCT Certification; Experience: Over 20 years of Operating Room experience as a CST / ORT; Experience in Trauma Level I, II, and III centers, teaching hospitals, community, and ambulatory/surgical centers; Proficient in ENT, Onc, Plastics, Orthopedics, Neuro, Spine, General surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Labor & Delivery, C-section, Tubal, D&C, Hysterectomy, Vascular cases.
• Additional Information: Urgent backfill needed; manager has pressing issues to resolve and will review profiles as soon as possible. Candidates with more than 1 or 2 days off for RTO may be DQd to prevent operational impact.
• Notes: Candidates must be able to discuss availability for interview and should have the necessary certifications and experience aligning with Trauma and teaching hospital environments.
