COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with extensive litigation experience to join its New Jersey office supporting its Metropolitan New York commercial litigation practice. This role is ideal for a New Jersey–based litigator seeking high-level New York commercial litigation work without the daily Manhattan commute. Candidate Profile · JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record · Active Bar Admission in New Jersey AND New York, in good standing · 4–6 years of substantive commercial litigation experience

• Prior federal or state judicial clerkship strongly preferred

Law review/journal experience preferred

• Experience with complex insurance coverage litigation a plus, but not required
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage complex matters, work collaboratively within a team, and operate independently on client assignments
• Outstanding communication skills and a strong commitment to client service

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across New Jersey and New York

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings as experience allows

Support all phases of case management, including strategy development and trial preparation · Work closely with senior litigators on complex disputes with high-profile clients Why Join Us? Compensation & Benefits · Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $175,000-$185,000, as determined by experience and market factors
