This includes mission engineering, requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration and test, verification, and validation, and many more!Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and maintain a Mission Ground Simulator (MGS) in MATLAB for our development, production, and on-orbit operational Space Radar Payload programs.As a member of the Mission Ground Simulator (MGS) team, you will be responsible for:Development and Maintenance of MGS MATLAB based ground simulation (thermal, power, radar tasking, ground interfaces, tasking decomposition)Development of Mathematical Algorithm Requirement Specifications (MARS) that feed MGS and Ground developmentThis position is on-site in a classified program area in Linthicum, Maryland.Active TS and eligibility for SCI clearance is required to be considered.This position can be staffed at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the Basic Qualifications below.Basic Qualifications:Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MSSr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MSMATLAB coding proficiencySimulation performance modeling knowledge and experienceActive TS clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)Experience with Space Vehicle taskingExperience with Radar taskingBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or MathActive SCI clearance#SpaceEngJobs#SpaceSysEngJobs#BaltimoreSpacePrimary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
