Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test

Salary: $108,800 - 203,600 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience, a masters degree with 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field; equivalent additional experience may be considered in place of a degree
• We require U.S. citizenship
• We require a current, active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• We require the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
• We need experience with RF lab test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
• We need experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and firmware integration issues
• We need experience coding in MATLAB for scripting, test support, data analysis, and signal processing
• We need experience working at a system bench, executing acceptance test plans, writing test reports, troubleshooting hardware and software, and communicating status updates
• For the senior principal level, we require a bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience, a masters degree with 6 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field; equivalent additional experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Preferred qualifications include an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance or higher

• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software integration and testing in C or C++

• We perform hands-on integration and testing of advanced RF sensor systems, covering both hardware and software in development and production settings
• We translate internal and external customer needs into system tests while balancing technical and schedule constraints
• We help develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules to verify system requirements
• We participate in integration and test readiness reviews, design reviews, and audits of integration and test program facilities
• We coordinate integrated testing activities, which may include environmental, reliability, and occasional flight testing
• We review test requirements to confirm the completeness of the test program
• We analyze test results and prepare detailed reports
• We use modeling and simulation tools to speed up testing of individual units before all system components are available and to support troubleshooting and repair of failed units
• We support integration, troubleshooting, and testing of RF sensor systems
• We help develop and establish the integration lab environment
• We collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to understand expected unit-level and system-level behavior and define test cases and test capabilities
• We work with software, firmware, and hardware subject matter experts to ensure testing produces the expected data points
• We support the creation and upkeep of system integration plans and system test plans

This is an onsite full-time role, and relocation assistance may be available. Travel is required at about 10% of the time. The role may be filled at the Principal Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Systems Engineer level.
