The Mobility Pirson Plant Controller will be the strategic business partner to the Pirson Plant Leader. They will be the finance leader for this site thus responsible for ensuring strong financial control, cost/working capital management and adherence to GAAP/IFRS and company financial policies. This role will report directly to the Wester NY Finance Leader.Work Schedule: Requires in-office attendance four days per week Monday-Thursday, with Friday designated as work-from-home.Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards as a part of the monthly close processes - Enforce adherence to GAAP/IFRS and company financial policies through monitoring all internal control systems to ensure integrity in financial reportingOwn the integrity and accuracy of all manufacturing-related balance sheet accounts, while ensuring coordination with Corporate Controllership and Tax and compliance with CHQ policiesPrepare timely, accurate financial reports, forecasts and variance analysis that support strategic business decisionsTranslation of operational performance metrics – throughput, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, etc. – into financial impact to enable plant leadership to react quickly and effectivelyLeads inventory management ensuring accurate valuation, robust standard costing process, cycle count integrity obsolescence management and working capital optimizationSupport the development and execution of the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes ensuring alignment with company goalsLead resolution of discrepancies and drive improvements in data quality and reporting systemsServe as a key member of the plant leadership teamKey Competencies: Is a consistent role model for the Alkegen Core ValuesDemonstrates excellent process management and change management skillsExemplifies a systems-thinking mindset being able to navigate complexity and understand secondary and tertiary financial impacts on decisionsCombines strong manufacturing finance and technical accounting skillsetsDevelops relationships that enable effective leading, coaching, and development of team membersIs a highly motivated problem solver able to balance priorities well under pressureCommunicates clearly with all stakeholder groups; quickly builds trust, credibility and respect with senior leadership.Can translate complex financial analyses into clear decision framework for leadership to quickly assessQualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required5+ years of experience with 1-2 years relevant FP&A experience focused in a manufacturing settingAbility and excitement to navigate a complex, fast growing, global manufacturing and business environmentExcellent organizational and analytical skills w/ supervisory experience leading financial teams through both controllership & FP&A duties and tasksStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills`Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel/PowerPointSalary range: $100,000. to $135,000 USD AnnualPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
