Service Coordinator

Location: Columbia, SC
Pay Range: $20 $24 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday

About the Role

Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in managing daily technician schedules, coordinating customer requests, and preparing accurate job quotes. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and clear communication are key.

What Youll Do

Scheduling & Dispatching

• Plan and assign daily schedules for installation and service technicians.

• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and coordinate service needs.

• Monitor schedules in real time, adjusting for delays, emergencies, or cancellations.

Quoting & Estimating

• Prepare detailed quotes for labor, materials, and parts.

• Collaborate with technicians and vendors to confirm pricing and availability.

• Follow up on open quotes and convert approved estimates into work orders.

Customer Service & Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer updates and inquiries.

• Clearly communicate timelines, expectations, and next steps.

• Handle escalations professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

• Process purchase orders and coordinate part deliveries.

• Assist management with reports, metrics, and process improvements.

What Were Looking For

• 13 years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination (preferred).

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Proficiency with scheduling/dispatch software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in quoting and data entry.

• Basic knowledge of equipment, parts, or technical services (training provided).
