Outside Sales Representative – Freight Brokerage (LTL & Truckload) Location: Home-based field role, Southern California. Your territory is built around where you live, and you'll come to our Encino, CA office for sales meetings. What You’ll Do Own a territory built around where you live, so you spend your time with customers and not in traffic Hunt for new business through cold calls, in-person visits, LinkedIn, networking and referrals. New logos are the priority. Manage and grow a set of existing PLG accounts Learn each shipper's lanes, volumes and pain points, then put together a solution from all of our service lines Quote, negotiate and close, then work with our LTL and Truckload operations teams to deliver Keep every contact, activity and opportunity up to date in our CRM Attend regular sales meetings at our Encino office What You Get Direct access to the President & CEO. Our President has been PLG’s lead salesperson for the past five years. He’ll go on calls with you, open doors, help you close big deals and coach you directly.
