Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Care for psychiatric observation, diabetic patients (including new diabetics and those with diabetes-related complications), surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to other system campuses as needed
• Pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
