Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. - Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, wayfinding, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
