As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while helping maintain a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; assist with visitor management and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
