As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.92 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years’ combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Guard Card/License is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. CPR Certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
