Job Description As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Observation in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, restricted-access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A guard card/license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
