As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and tenants. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report security-related conditions, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts. Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with access control, and maintaining professional communication with tenants, visitors, and emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
