As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:45 PM - 06:45 AMSat10:45 PM - 06:45 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed. Maintain awareness of changing site conditions and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
