Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the OR for procedures across multiple specialties.
- Assist with patient positioning, sterile technique, instrument setup, counts, and case readiness; support anesthesia as needed.
- Monitor patient status during intraoperative phases; communicate changes with the surgeon and anesthesia team.
- Ensure room readiness, functional equipment, safe patient care, and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate with the surgical team, including scrub tech and circulating nurse; manage supplies and instrument turnover.
- Participate in call coverage, weekends, and holidays as required; prior travel experience and strong skills rating preferred.
- Access and utilize electronic scheduling and clinical apps (Outlook, Workday, Shift Wizard) to support workflow and communications.

Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific for this assignment) or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
- OR nursing experience; Level 1 trauma exposure preferred.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts; willingness to cover call, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong skills in neuro and vascular areas; high rating on skills checklist.
- Proficiency with electronic tools and apps, including Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
