Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with positioning, instrumentation, suction, and hemostasis; manage equipment readiness between cases
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; respond to anesthesia-related events and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and medications-related interventions per physician orders; document care in the electronic record
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team to optimize patient outcomes; communicate needs to team and participate in call coverage as required
- Ensure readiness for weekends and holidays, and participate in on-call activities as assigned

Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred or required
- Neuro and vascular skills within the OR required
- High rating on skills checklist required
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard; access to electronics to use these apps
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in call, weekends, and holidays
