Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out comprehensive evaluations of patients, administering diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (contingent on your credentialing)
• Empowering patients and families through education on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing therapeutics and medications within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and ongoing chronic care management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless, holistic care
• Accurately documenting interactions and care in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or must obtain within 90 days)
