General Job Description
The clinical therapist will provide outpatient mental health treatment to clients seeking evidenced-based counseling.
- Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of emotional/relational issues
- Conduct appropriate assessments, maintain case notes, records, reviews, discharge notes
- Contribute to staff supervision and professional development meetings
- Provide information for referrals and community resources to clients when needed
- Deliver psychoeducational seminars to area organizations as available
- Perform networking efforts to increase clientele and foster relationship with area agencies, leaders, and organizations
- Seek training opportunities to advance skills and develop specialties
- Other duties as assigned by employment supervisor or clinical supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree and licensure as LPC, LPC-IT, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Wisconsin
- Possess reliability and consistency and strong, self-directed work ethic
- Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally
- Extremely organized, self-motivated, with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Interested in continually expanding skill set to serve clients in need of quality care
Benefits: Flexible schedule, health insurance, Personal time off, retirement after one year of service and 1,000 hours.
